People get so upset about a picture of their boob being leaked, yet they think it appropriate to own pets and strut their naked asses in public for all to see.
But we are humans, not dogs!
That’s right, we aren’t dogs. We are worse than dogs, because we can’t see a naked woman and reserve for her the same amount of respect as a clothed woman. What if all humans were naked (which we are by default)? Then maybe nudity wouldn’t be such a commodity and we could actually focus on intelligence.
But don’t get me wrong. My opinion is that people shouldn’t get so anal about people having access to an image of their boob. Because in the process, they reveal the curse of humanity: the “Mine!” effect. Here, let me elaborate.
“NO! It’s MINE! You can’t have it! Even if it’s been made public so I can’t really get all copies of it destroyed anyway! I have to, I must, I WILL spend a ridiculously disproportionate amount of effort to make you go to jail for glimpsing my boob! I MUST AND WILL WIN WIN WIN!!”
To be fair, since this curse is rooted in humanity, “glimpse” isn’t gunna happen. It’ll be more like “I saw your boobies, neh neh nehneh neh” *share* “you saw her boobies too! neh neh nehneh neh”
Celebrities worry about their body image day in, day out. So when their boob is exposed, shouldn’t they be instead thinking, “look at my luscious boob! I spent SO much more time working out my body than you did! I feel proud!”
And the answer from their fans should be more like “wow, we get to appreciate yet another beautiful aspect of this wonderful person!”
Why can’t we live in a world where a nude, or even pornographic, image of a celebrity who otherwise offers no similar content in their public output, be considered an enhancement to their public profile? But no, we as humans must hold even the sight of our genitals as sacred holy grails which only the perfect mate gets to experience. But that almost never happens. Yet, the respect for one’s sex continues to be undermined. It’s a lose-lose situation. #4chan #leaked #photos #celebrities
