- add telegram link as possible social networks (consider that a model could have 3 things (channel, bot, private username)
- convert all GIF in in MP4 or WebM format, unfortunately WebM are not fully supported in iOS, so there's needed to have the file or in MP4 or make both 2 to serve smaller files to browsers that support it and have a beckup for unsupported ones.
Doing so you'll have a faster user experience (since GIF are heavier on user CPU since there's not an accelerated decoding) plus you'll reduce space on servers since GIF occupies lot more space than videos reducing in the same time bandwith used by your servers and needed for end users, speeding up the whole website experience
- add videos in user profile side panel
- Add login via Telegram
- Integrate Sharesome notifications to an official Telegram bot, this has really few impact on server and is a great alternative to emails
- add sound on notifications
- Allow to hide who you're following
- consider making a PWA for Sharesome, increasing the user experience
- Allow to filter content (EDIT: Just notice now that's there's yet 😔)
Like show only videos, only pictures, only text, only gif, plus giving also the ability to show only a mix (check google maps business info page to have a near idea)
- Allow users to put a small badge at the beginning of their posts if it's a their original content, to help identify a own model content from one that's just grabbed somewhere else, could be useful also for contents, like facebook does for post authors.
- Allow to repost a content, this doesn't mean that the content would appear 2 times, for example I wanted that a post always stay on top of my page and I needed to share it on my profile, but now there's the video 2 times and I would like to show only once in the feed, reducing the possibility to annoy the user seeing the same video while scrolling.
