Here is a cheap way to make a spreader bar restraint with a rope and a tube. You start by putting two bights in your rope centered from the middle, resulting in 3 ropes with two bights and two running ends one on each side of your ropes. Insert the 3 ropes in the tube, leaving a bight and a running end on each side. Make sure you have running end long enough to make your knots. Now take your bight on either side and make 3 locking round turns with your running end leaving a loop locked with your running end on each side f the pipe. Now you have a restraining bar with two sliding knots around a bight take a hand or arm can hold tight in.
