I have no freaking idea what the Russian part says but there’s eventually an explanation as of why there are more volumes up in some collections. Does anybody have the complete text???

Okay, so here’s the full story.Ai no kusabi was rewritten and published from 2001 to 2013. At first it was published by Seibido shuppan and illustrated by Michihara Katsumi. The American publisher Juné bought the rights to translate the series and released the translation of the first six books that had been published. However around 2008, the publishing company in Japan changed (I remember reading that Seibido shuppan had been bought over by Tokuma shoten but I can’t seem to find anything on this now). The new publisher decided to change the illustrator and re-publish the first six books into four (re-published book #1 is actually book #1 and #2 put together and republished book #2 is book #3 and #4 roughly). Juné wanted to release the remaining two books, but as not to confuse the English-speaking readers they labeled them book #7 and #8.
