The China Girl and Oz by Tony James Just recently I saw Oz The Great and Powerful and I realized something about the story I could relate to. The first thing was the character of Oz who was a magician and illusionist but second was something rather heart warming. In the film, there is one scene where Oz meets a character named China Girl. As she was fragile and unable to move, Oz opted to help her and thus glued her legs back together so she could walk. That was what did it, that single moment brought upon a realization like no other. As I too had met a girl who was fragile once and I saved her from ending her life. Her name was Sarah and she currently lives in Australia or Oz as it is sometimes called. Much like The Wizard, I provided her with a friend when she had nobody and this made the film rather special. Then I noticed something else, another scene where Oz and The China Girl are in bubbles. This was symbolic too as the bubbles passed through many obstacles…but they did not burst. I saw that to represent how both me and Sarah carried on no matter what, for she was as brave as me and although both me and her fell apart we always managed to pull ourselves together. All because of me, Sarah’s still Alive today. I’ll never forget this movie as long as I live and i’d even put it up there with Hugo which I also related to… #Oz #The #Great #and #Powerful #Wizard #of #Oz #China #Girl #True #Story #Magic #Illusion #Oz #True #Events #Special #Stories #Special #Moments #Magic #Moments #Disney #Pixar #Disney #Disney #Animation
