But this inferiority does not mean there is no evolutionary purpose for the existence of the beta male. The beta male is evolutions solution to the primordial difference between the male and female sex drives with the ALPHA MALE having so much more than the female. This creates extreme frustration and stress for the ALPHA MALE which often gives rise to violence and abuse. S
