As you know, I'm retired from sex work, indie porn and BDSM, pursuing bigger and better things outside of that life/industry, and focusing on my healing journey to become better, stronger, healthier and happier again. What will happen next from here on out is a adventure full of good times, friendships with those close to me, a lot of creative/artistic projects, soul-searching and finding peace along the way, but I can tell you that it won't be boring.
I've also written a post about this decision and why I came to this decision, and how it was definitely worth it to change my life for the better.
There may be a day when I feel like I can handle doing BDSM again, especially as a submissive/slavegirl-type, but I don't see a day or a future where I'll return to porn/sex work at all. It has traumatized me, damaged me and left me broken, which was one of the reasons why I felt like I needed some time away to heal, to do better, to live my amends every day and to practice not just ethical accountability but restorative justice.
Things can get better, and it does get better - I have to believe it does, because without faith, without hope for a better tomorrow, all this would've been for naught. I love you all, and I thank you for supporting my work as of late over the last year and a half, and I wish I could continue selling the videos and photos of me that I've made with some rather wondeful people like with Mistress Salem and a feew others, but that time has come and passed. I've learned a lot from my mistakes in that industry, and I've seen where it has led me in a post-industry life that is so much better than what I originally envisioned it to be.
If you want to learn more about what's going to happen from here on out, you're welcome to visit my FetLife profile and give it a read, what I had written recently, and I hope to see you all again someday. But not as a professional, instead rather as a friend, as a ally, as a community member and as a kinky person who enjoys submitting and surrendering to awesome people who does amazing things as Doms/Dommes/Tops/Mistresses/Masters/Sirs/Ladies/Gods/Goddesses, etc.
Take care, everyone, and remember, keep practicing self-care, because if you do, you won't get burned out like me.
Goodbye for now... who knows when I'll return someday?
Namaste and May the Kink Be with You,
October.
