Coincidentally, a Kohl's flier just came in the mail today - a store at which I encourage you to shop just because they produce home mailers like these! Without a Sunday paper anymore it's getting difficult to find these kinds of ads anymore.
Big observation: In the 80s & 90s it was all lace bras and sheer bras, not to mention string bikinis.
Now, in the new millennium, it's all T-shirt bras. I get it. It's all about comfort and being practical and not being too sexy in public. Sigh. I still miss the more blatantly sexy daily lingerie of those times. You have to really hunt to find a sheer bra at a department store these days.
With bottoms now it's also all about thongs or bottoms designed to display one's buns. (although you can't tell that from these ads designed for home delivery)
