why are there only black men in this photo set? rock music was first pioneered by sister rosetta tharpe a bi black woman and sistas have still been contributing to the genre ever since.
This post wasn’t about the origins of rock & roll. I was just thinking of how hard it is to find black men & women to play/jam with. Younger ppl kinda give me a strange double take when they see me out with my guitar case. But the older ppl always smile & want to know what I play; lead, rythm, bass? What kind of music? Its just different times now. I’ve owned 2 MPC’s, the 2500 & the 5000. So I do make digital music as well, but I just would like to see more of us “playing” again.
Okay…but you still didn’t include any black women and that’s the problem.
