I've done these off and on since I was about 13 years old. I always wish that I would stick with it regularly, because that's where the real learning and the familiarity comes from.
You can see from the first sketch that I was way too tentative.
By the third sketch I was loosened up and even though that one was more complex, I nailed it better.
I'd like to do this every day, but I don't always have the time. My work is better when I do, for sure!
I'm gearing up for an 8-page comic story and it's going to require me to get those figures in both an accurate and dynamic way.
